Sourcing

Our clients benefit greatly from our vast occupational candidate database, as it is constantly updated with candidate CVs and has the capability to automatically allocate these to clients’ latest recruitment requirements. In addition to this, it ensures that we hold all relevant documentation for applicants before commencement of the interview process. Once compliant the candidate can then be progressed further.

Screening

We provide a candidate vetting process tailored to your specific Occupational Health requirements. Once a candidate has been sourced, we utilise a combination of candidate screening techniques, and apply recruiter expertise to conduct in-depth assessments of workers. We have extensive experience in candidate skill and culture analysis, depending on the role and your needs, we offer online appraisals, initial interviews and assessment centres. We use our own structured analytical methodology to confirm candidates’ suitability for your role.

Selection Testing

Our highly effective selection testing capability provides an indication of a candidates’ cultural fit as well as their skills, qualifications and experience to fulfil a role.  This process then accelerates our ability to select the most appropriate person for our client. We appreciate the necessity for an occupational health professional to be able to fit straight into a role, performing duties immediately.

Interview

Our experienced  occupational health consultants conduct face-to-face interviews or telephone interviews with all candidates, to ascertain their aspirations as well as their skills, experience, approach and of course attitude, which is vital in any occupational health position.

We conduct all interviews prior to introducing candidates to our clients, utilising  competency-based structured questions which are agreed and approved by clients during our client assessment process.

Compliance

Sugarman Occupational Health is audited on a regular basis by both public and private sector organisations, and we have a 100% pass rate.  We retain this standard due to the support of our in-house group audit and compliance teams. Our consultants ensure all workers are thoroughly vetted prior to placement. All candidates comply with the Immigration and Asylum Act requirements. We always ensure that we follow all current employment legislation and we are registered with the Regulation Quality Improvement Authority and the Recruitment & Employment Confederation. We are SEQOHS accredited and one of very few OH staffing agency in the UK to have this.
